Objective
This exercise would aim to monitor and
appraise the departmental training carried out by the Departmental Trainers in
their respective departments. Also it would achieve focus, in return recognise
the efforts of the trainer’s success in the implementation of training.. This
would further help to accomplish the following
goals :

Adherence
to the Standard Operating Procedures through intensive and on-going Training.
·
Reinforce
the training skills learnt during Train the Trainer program.
·
To
achieve maximum Departmental Trainer’s productivity and flexibility through the
implementation of a creative and through training plan that satisfies the
training needs of both the department and the hotel.
Implementation
1. The best
Training Team will be selected and awarded every month, The winner of each
month will then be eligible for the selection of “Best Trainer team of The Year”.
2. Attractive
incentives is to be given to all the team members.
3. To determine the winners for each month, each department to be
evaluated and given points for their
monthly training efforts.
4. The evaluation criteria is proposed to
be based on :
a)
Quality
of Training plan.
b)
Achievement
of Training plan.
c)
Quality
of Training effort
(Sample sheet attached)
5. The monthly
scores are added up to formulate the highest score of the Year.
6. After ever subsequent month the each teams scores would be zero for
a fresh start for the next month.
7.
A
score board to be installed in the notice board to record the points scored,
which would also act as a Motivational tool.
Evaluation
Points
1. The judges would enter the points in the
POINT column . The TOTAL column is to be left blank.
2. After all judges decide on the score then ,
the Training team will then total the scores.
3. Totalling the score : The scores under the
points column is to be multiplied with the scores under the value column . Then
write down the total under the TOTAL column.
4. Add the scores under the TOTAL column to
get the grand total of the department’s training effort for that month.
5. Each Department’s score has to be entered
in score board on a monthly basis.
