- Do not open any
attachment received from the unknown or untrusted sender
- Do not plug in any
external USB drive into the company workstation. If you need to
transfer/copy any file from/to USB drive please pass it to IT department
for virus checking to make sure the device is virus free.
- User are not allowed
to install any software into the company workstation
- IT Solution has to
make sure the antivirus installed on server and user workstation is
updated by the latest virus update.
If in any case the
workstation already infected by the virus or notify some symptoms of the virus
the following action has to be taken immediately:
- Inform IT immediately
- IT then will take any
action required ie:
- Un plug the workstation
from the network
- Clean the virus, and
make sure the workstation free from virus
